BRITISH INDEPENDENT AIRLINES 1946 - 1976

Originally published as a four volume set in 1975 - 1976 as British Independent Airlines since 1946, this has now been republished as British Independent Airlines 1946 - 1976.  Although we are calling this new edition a reprint, we have in fact taken the time to try and correct all the spelling mistakes, correct any factual errors and also have added any relevant information that has come to hand.  In view of the fact that printing technology has advanced in leaps and bounds over the last twenty five years we have taken the time to totally reset the text to reflect these advances. 

Photographs while slightly fewer than in the four volume edition of twenty five years ago have also benefited from these advances and we are pleased to say that 192 of the photographs are now in full glorious colour and 168 are in black and white.  Unlike the previous edition there are only three photographs per page, hopefully to allow the reader to get more enjoyment from the pictures.  This edition is 320 pages in A4 portrait style, printed on top quality paper and case bound.
