SCRAMBLE MILITARY SERIALS - EUROPE 2008

The third edition of Scramble Military Serials - Europe.  What is included?  All European countries, except Russia, and all United States military aircraft permanently stationed in Europe are included. For every country all types are listed that have at least one aircraft of that type active as of 1 January 2007. All serials of that type are shown, including stored, written off, preserved, etc, examples. Some exceptions are made (e.g., for the RAF Spitfires only BoBMF examples are shown). Where exceptions are made, this is mentioned in the book.  For every country we have included as much information as possible. This means that "semi-military" forces, like the Italian Guarda di Finanza are also included. Because of the standardization we sometimes use type, unit and serial presentations that may strongly differ from those used by the manufacturer or user. It is therefore possible that the information sent by you can deviate from the information we publish. What is not included? Russia is not included. Information on Russian Forces is too scarce to produce a reasonable overview of types. For all other countries, types that are no longer in service are not shown
