In the current economic climate wholesale prices (the price we are charged) are increasing all the time. We have no alternative but to pass on these price increases to our customers.This is due to the drop in value of the UK pound to Japanese Yen, Euro & US Dollar.

For those who don’t already know, TAHS was formed in the spring of 1978 to serve the needs of the ever increasing number of aviation enthusiasts.  Since then our stock of items has increased to the volume included in our two catalogues (Catalogue 1 which lists books, colour prints and Airband Radios, and Catalogue 2 which lists plastic model kits, decals and modelling sundries), making us probably the most comprehensive enthusiasts shop around.  We really can claim to stock just about everything the aviation enthusiast needs, whether it be books, plastic model kits, colour prints or other items of interest.  Although we attempt to give as much detail as possible in the pages of our catalogues, only a personal visit to the shop will reveal the true extent of our stocks.  The shop may not be a vast department store [far from it in fact!] but they say good things come in small packages, and we try to pack as much as possible into the  small space we have. 

We are conveniently situated if you are  visiting Heathrow, especially now that the M25 has relieved the local traffic problems.  For those who use public transport, trains run to West Drayton BR Station at regular intervals from London [Paddington], to/from Reading/Slough.  Buses from Heathrow Central [U3] also stop at the station.  The 222 from Heathrow Northside also stops here.  Car parking is available within a short distance of the shop.

Our stocks are increasing all the time as new lines become available and any saving on discontinued items we bulk buy are always passed on to you the customer.  We do not believe in overcharging for so called collectors items.

We believe we are the only established shop which can claim to offer such a wide selection of items, and although you undoubtedly have a choice where you shop, experience has shown us that your choice is usually us.  We recognise this and will continue to try to give an unrivalled service.  Thank you for shopping at The Aviation Hobby Shop.
